Description

• CAD Engineer - Knowledge Based Engineering (KBE) - Advanced Lighting Systems
• Define parameters and standards of critical systems integrated into CAD design templates for vehicle evaluation & implementation. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Specific prior expertise in Exterior Lighting Systems required
• Adaptation of studio surface data to meet engineering and parametric modeling requirements
• Apply Lighting standards into template process and provide regulatory compliance data
• Competitive benchmarking of assigned systems
• Maintain templates / requirements as standards change
• Associative parametric modeling
• CAD model and template set up
• Requirement section development, application, buy off, change process
• Highest Level of CAD Skillset,Parametric CAD Modeling Required
• Specific expertise in Exterior Lighting CAD design required

Requirements

• 1-3 Years of CAD modeling with Siemens NX (must)
• Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or EE) or equivalent bachelors degree with experience.
• 1-3 Years of Exterior Lighting Automotive Engineering Experience (specific examples required)
• Strong English Speaking skills
• Strong Engineering Design Project Presentation skills required

  • 5+ Years of Body and Body Closures CAD Engineering experience
  • 5+ Years of CAD Parametric Modeling with Catia V5 or V6.
  • Must Have's:
  • 2+ Years of Robust Modeling with Siemens NX
  • 3+ Years of Exterior Lightring Automotive Engineering Experience (specific examples required)
