• • Knowledge Based Engineering (KBE) - Body in White & Closures responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Specific prior expertise in Body in White and Closures.
  • Exposure to Manufacturing Best practices and guidelines, Feasibility.
  • Competitive benchmarking.
  • Maintain templates / requirements as standards change.
  • Associative parametric modeling.
  • CAD model and template set up.
  • Requirement section development, application, buy off, change process.
  • Highest Level of CAD Skillset, Parametric CAD Modeling Required.
  • Specific expertise in Exterior Trim CAD design required
  • Creating CAD (Catia/NX) parametric math models for commodities using Knowledge Based Engineering template modeling techniques. P
  • Dictating architecture and construction techniques, creating master development / packaging / requirement sections, defining master template modeling structures, and training other Catia/NX engineers on modeling techniques, architecture.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent bachelor’s degree with experience.
• 1-3 Years of CAD modeling with Siemens NX (Must)
• 1-3 Years of Body in White (Automotive) Engineering Experience
• Strong English Speaking skills
• Strong Engineering Design Project Presentation skills required
• Remote
• Proof of Covid Vaccination will be required
• 5+ Years of Body in White and/or Closures CAD Engineering experience.
• 5+ years of body experience
• 5+ Years of CAD Parametric Modeling with Seimens NX
